The ROLE:

As an Account Executive you will support the growth of the business through direct and channel sales. You will be working closely with an experienced team of peers, focused on contributing to your success.  Business Development Representatives, Sales Operations support and our leadership team are actively engaged in supporting our business growth. We are seeking driven, motivated, high energy individuals, with experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships. Closing sales and hitting targets are core to the focus of this role, always with a strong commitment to ensuring the delivery of excellent client service.

 

The Account Executive will be a self-starter with proven skills that will drive and evolve the Wello sales organization. You must understand market dynamics and have keen knowledge and awareness of competitive products, solutions and offerings.  Key Responsibilities

 

  • Sales ability and acumen to take on complex clients from cold call to close;
  • Execute our sales process to generate new sales opportunities: i.e. executing 5+ prospect meetings per day;
  • Meet with qualified prospects, develop meaningful relationships with executive leaders in companies across your designated market while pitching the Wello service and educating them on the value of telemedicine;
  • Engage senior level decision makers in targeted prospect accounts;
  • Strategize and collaborate with VP, Sales and other departments both internally and externally;
  • Facilitate discussions and deliver solutions to senior execs around their business needs;
  • Leverage CRM tools to take a client across the finish line;
  • Effectively manage your daily sales activity and metrics by forecasting sales performance on an ongoing basis;
  • Work closely with and help motivate the Business Develop Representative team to maintain great client relations and develop fresh ideas and strategies;
  • Identify prospective accounts around organisational structure, people and existing technology.

 

 Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in a related field;
  • 5-7 years of account/sales management related experience is required, with ability to close;
  • Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset;
  • A commanding desire to succeed in tech sales;
  • Salesforce.com and Hubspot experience is an strong asset;
  • Proven results in exceeding sales quotas;
  • Compelling presentation skills;
  • Excellent communication; ability to speak effectively with anyone;
  • Knowledge of any of the following industry sectors a plus: multi-channel marketing, content marketing, e-commerce, digital and mobile marketing, B2B and B2C sales.
